Nova Materia - Live At Home EP

During the lockdown period, online home concerts haven’t been rare, to say the least… But few artists have come up with intense and powerful performances as the one which was broadcast by Nova Materia on 24 April 2020, live from their studio.

Like all musicians, Nova Materia found themselves without any means of expression, as all their shows got cancelled. They reacted by producing this concert in their home studio, which is located in their Parisian flat. They created a visual settting with lighting design, filmed themselves in black & white, and the resulting performance (akin to some form of action poetry) was followed and liked by a sizable number of viewers.

Nova Materia and Crammed Discs will now be releasing the audio recording of the concert, which includes performances of three tracks off ova Materia’s “It Comes” album, as well as the recent single “Strength”.
